Khanna STX Outlier Returns 978.74 Percent From Disclosure Date

Chad
·Monday, September 28, 2026

Congressional trade filings continue to surface purchases that produced substantial gains after they entered the public record. A review of disclosed buys by three House members shows returns ranging from 385.92 percent to 978.74 percent measured strictly from the dates the filings were released. These positions were visible to any investor who checked the official disclosures on or shortly after filing.

Leading the list is Rep. Ro Khanna's purchase of STX, disclosed April 10, 2025. This position is an outlier we are still verifying that shows a current return of 978.74 percent since disclosure. The California Democrat also filed a purchase of WDC disclosed on January 6, 2026. That filing is likewise an outlier we are still verifying and has returned 847.35 percent from the disclosure date forward.

Rep. Gilbert Cisneros reported a buy of SNDK with disclosure on February 13, 2026. This too is an outlier we are still verifying, registering a 787.28 percent return since it became public. A verified position from the same member, the SPHR buy disclosed May 6, 2025, has gained 428.18 percent from its filing date.

Rep. Lisa McClain of Michigan disclosed a DELL purchase on August 13, 2025 that now stands at a 426.99 percent return since disclosure. The same filing included CIEN, which has returned 385.92 percent from that date. It is important to state plainly that these returns are measured from the DISCLOSURE date forward and that the public could have seen each of these positions when they were filed. Most trades fell in the $1,001 to $15,000 range except Cisneros's SPHR position sized between $15,001 and $50,000.

Five of the six positions sit in technology while SPHR belongs to communication services. Holding periods stretch from 261 days for the SNDK filing to more than 600 days for the WDC and DELL trades. The scale of outperformance after the information reached the public domain highlights how certain disclosed congressional purchases aligned with later sector strength. Future filings from these members and their colleagues will be monitored for similar patterns. Market dynamics evolve quickly and past results after disclosure carry no guarantee of repetition.
